Interregional meeting "Social control and housing education - a way to improve the efficiency of the housing and communal services"

On April 13, 2018, a plenary meeting of the interregional meeting on the Volga Federal District took place on the basis of the Kazan College of Public Utilities, Architecture and Construction on the theme: "Public control and housing education is the way to improve the efficiency of the housing and communal services." The event was attended by Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee for Housing Policy and Housing and Communal Services Pavel Kachkaev, First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexey Frolov, Deputy Minister of Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Bashkortostan Alfred Zinnatullin, Deputy Director of the Department methodology and modernization of the communal infrastructure of the Housing Fund Andrei Ulyanov, the head of the Press Center of the Office Housing Fund Olga Grishina, as well as representatives of the executive authorities of the Volga Federal District, representatives of public control, associations of homeowners of the Republic of Tatarstan.

In his opening speech, the First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan, Alexei Frolov, emphasized the relevance of the meeting's topic. The sphere of housing and communal services concerns every inhabitant of our country. "And I hope that today's joint work of representatives of the executive and legislative state authorities, management companies and public figures will certainly give their positive result in creating a comfortable and safe living environment", - said Alexei Frolov. Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee for Housing Policy and Communal Services Pavel Kachkaev in his report spoke in detail about the innovations in the legislation of the Russian Federation concerning the housing and communal services. The main attention he paid to the draft law on payment by residents of public services directly to resource-supplying organizations, bypassing the management companies. He also answered the questions of the meeting participants related to the latest changes in the housing legislation.
