The Ministry of Construction of Tatarstan came out with a legislative initiative
The draft updating of the law of the Republic of Tatarstan "On ensuring the protection of citizens' housing rights" was considered at a meeting of the profile committee of the State Council of Tatarstan. The document was presented by Deputy Minister Vladimir Kudryashev. On April 3, 2018, the President of the Russian Federation signed the Federal Law, which amended the Housing Code of the Russian Federation. In the course of his speech, the deputy minister proposed to exclude the list of powers of the body of state housing supervision in the Law of the Republic of Tatarstan "On ensuring the protection of citizens' housing rights", indicating that regional state housing supervision is carried out in accordance with Article 20 of the Housing Code of the Russian Federation. He also noted the need to update the powers of the executive authorities of the Republic of Tatarstan in the sphere of protection of the housing rights of citizens in connection with the recognition of the Federal Law dated December 30, 2004 № 210-FZ "On the regulatory framework of tariffs of public utilities" as invalid. "Previously, the bill was considered and approved at the Expert Council of the Interagency Coordinating Committee and the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Tatarstan. We ask you to support our initiative," - the representative of the ministry addressed the deputies.
