Minnikhanov told Putin about the updated "Batyr" Judo Center

After the completion of the expanded meeting of the State Council in the framework of the working meeting, President  of Russia Vladimir Putin discussed the results of 2018 with President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. Rustam Nurgaliyevich touched on the topic of social facilities: “... Today we have 31 resource centers. There are resource centers, where the competition is up to six people. Prestigious. Almost half of our children after the 9th grade are going to get working professions. Most importantly, these resource centers are tied to our commodity producer, and they also help with the equipment, we are going through all the processes together with this company. We remind you that within the framework of the State Council a delegation of the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation, headed by Vladimir Yakushev, visited the renewed Republican sports school of the Olympic reserve "Batyr". The event was attended by Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan Irek Faizullin, Deputy Minister of Sports of the Republic of Tatarstan Almaz Mingulov, Head of the Kirov and Moscow Districts of Kazan Sergey Mironov and others.

Vladimir Yakushev highly appreciates the quality of the work carried out at the facility and expressed confidence that "Batyr" will serve the local athletes for a long time. This object was commissioned in 1985. In the judo and sambo divisions of the "Batyr" school are studying 759 students. The total area of ​​the building is 4,025 sq. meters. As part of the capital facility, work is underway to replace utilities, repair furniture in the locker rooms and landscaping. On the first floor there is a large hall with seats for 360 seats, a sambo hall, a gym, on the second floor there is a hall for two carpets with seats for 60 seats.
