A team of KSUAE students won the Grand Prix of the workshop “Ideas for the Development of Yauza River Embankments” (Moscow)

The highest award winner was the Grand Prix of the joint workshop of GAU “NI and PI Gradplan of the City of Moscow” and the Ostozhenka Architectural Bureau on: “Ideas for the development of the embankments of the Yauza River” was the project “Embankment of the Yauza”, developed by a team of 4th year students of the Institute of Architecture and Design of KSUAE. A joint workshop of GAU “NI and PI Gradplan of the City of Moscow” and the Architectural Bureau “Ostozhenka” on the topic: “Ideas for the Development of Yauza River Embankments” was held for students of the country's leading specialized universities. During the week, 69 participants worked out projects for the development of Yauza embankments and came up with options for incorporating historical objects along the river banks into the life of the megalopolis. In late October, 15 teams presented their own concepts for the development of embankments from Saltykovsky to Astakhovsky bridges. The jury members noted that future architects from KSUAE, in addition to infographics, presented a 3D visualization of the project, where they showed recreations designed for different groups of citizens and combining the different needs of citizens. The jury unanimously awarded the project: “Yauza Embankment”, developed by KSUAE students , it was they who received the grant, which was awarded between the participants of the workshop (100 thousand rubles).
