Rustam Minnikhanov: It is necessary to carry out serious work to reduce administrative barriers for small and medium-sized enterprises

The meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan, dedicated to the current state of the investment climate in the region and the dynamics of the indicators of the National rating of the state of the investment climate in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation in 2019, was held today. The meeting was attended by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. As Alexey Pesoshin recalled, opening the meeting, according to the results of the indicators of the National rating of the state of the investment climate in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation for 2018, Tatarstan took second place, losing to Moscow. “The results of the rating show that in general, we are doing well, but unsatisfactory estimates were obtained on individual indicators as a result of surveys of the business community, and work should be strengthened on them,” - said the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan, Irek Fayzullin, made a report on indicators evaluating the effectiveness of procedures for issuing building permits. The General Director of JSC "Network Company" Ilshat Fardiev presented indicators that evaluate the effectiveness of procedures for connecting electricity. The closing speech at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan was made by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. According to him, the main evaluation criteria may be indicators such as the share of small and medium-sized businesses in the structure of the gross regional product (GRP) of the region. In addition, according to the President of Tatarstan, today it is important to help citizens legalize their income, this also applies to small business.
