In total, the second branch will include 12 stations and will be about 3 km longer than the first one. Completely the second branch of the Kazan Metro will be built around 2030 - 2050. It will pass through Pioneerskaya Street and Compressor Plant, said Andrey Zakharchenko, Deputy General Director of the Main Investment and Construction Department of the Republic of Tatarstan. In total, the branch will include 12 stations and will be approximately 3 km longer than the first - about 20 km compared to 17.1 km, he noted. Construction of the first section of the second branch will cost about five times as much than 1 billion rubles, which will be invested by the shopping center "Mega". All other funds will come from the republican budget, Zakharchenko explained.

 

Young scientists of the Kazan State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering Ruslan Ibragimov and Rustem Mukhametrahimov became the winners of the contest of grants of the President of the Russian Federation among young Russian scientists in 2018-2019 for the amount of 1.2 million each. Grants are allotted for a two-year term. The young scientists of the Republic of Tatarstan also successfully presented their developments: K(P)FU won 7 grants, KGASU-2, KNITU-KHTI and KSC RAS — 1.

The information and consulting group for rendering free legal assistance carried out the visit to the rural settlements of the Laishevsky municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan.
