Tatarstan Ministry of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities: It is necessary to overhaul children’s recreation camps by May 15

On April 7, speaking at the Government House of the republic, at a regional video-conference held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of Prime Minister of the republic Irek Faizullin, Tatarstan Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities Irek Faizullin said that 995 houses for 224,000 citizens will be overhauled in Tatarstan.

Faizullin reported that 113 educational facilities including 28 general educational institutions and 85 pre-school institutions will be overhauled in the republic in the current year. As of April 5, the capital repair of 13 municipal schools, 9 special schools, 72 children's pre-school education facilities  is under way. Repair work has been completed in one school and one kindergarten.

As many as 12 of 14 facilities are being overhauled under the programme of capital repair of children’s recreation camps. Faizillin reminded that children’s recreation camps should be overhauled by May 15. He also noted that the capital repair of the youth clubs should be completed by the same date. The repair work is under way at 27 facilities of 28.

Minnikhanov asked to pay special attention to the security issues in children’s institutions, in particular, on the implementation of sanitation activities.

To date, the major repair of nine created resource centres (colleges), 40 cultural sites, 30 buildings of executive committees of municipalities, 15 facilities of municipal archives of the republic in under way.

It is planned to overhaul 120 buildings of outpatient centres, in particular, 21 polyclinics in Kazan, 15 buildings in Naberezhye Chelny, 6 polyclinicsin Nizhnekamsk, 4 in Alyemetevsk and 74 in other municipalities in 2018. The preparatory work has been launched at 56 facilities.
