On July 4, a number of projects were approved at a session of interdepartmental commission on town planning activity in historical settlements at Tatarstan Government House. The projects were presented by chief architect of Kazan Tatyana Prokofieva.
The first project was the reconstruction of a house in Mushtari street, the second – the project of individual two-storey house in Bryusov street.
The project of construction of 6-storey building in Sara Sadykova street, houses in Stolbova and Spartakovskaya streets were also approved by the commission.
The reconstruction of an administrative building in Peterburgskaya street using original project, construction of spiritual center at Saint Barbara church and reconstruction of auxiliary rooms for sports equipment of “Solntse” (”Sun”) school in Kavi Nadzhmi street were approved at the session.
Members of the commission approved the construction of sewerage pump station in Kirov district of Kazan and construction of a shopping mall at the territory of Art City housing estate.
On June 29, 2017 in Burbash area of Baltasi district it was held opening of new multipurpose sports court. Actually from 2013 on the territory of the Baltasi municipal district 13 sports grounds built. 3 grounds in Burbash, Baltasi, Sredny Kushket areas put in operation in 2017.
In the opening of the sport ground was attended by the head of "UGAZ RT" Mazit Salikhov. He adressed a welcoming speech of Minister of construction, architecture and housing and communal services of the Republic of Tatarstan Irek Faizullin, and also noted the scale of work carried out since 2013 by the Ministry of construction, architecture and housing and communal services of the Republic of Tatarstan, the design and construction organizations of the Republic, administrations of municipal districts of Tatarstan. After the event residents of the area immediately looked around of the new playground.
On July 4, the project of restoration of historical quarter in Kazan within Rakhmatullin, Kavi nadzhmi, Profsoyuznaya and Musa Dzhalil streets was presented to Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov at Tatarstan Government House. Aide to Tatarstan President Olesya Baltusova, chief architect of Kazan Tatyana Prokofieva, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, and other officials took part in the event.
Ak Bars Development was required to prepare a project of restoration of this part of Kazan. Chief architect of OOO “Studio Complekt” Marsel Iskanderov presented the architectural concept of the reconstruction. It is planned to restore subsidiary buildings and yards of architectural monuments in the mentioned area. Also, two residential buildings and offices will be built.
The presented project was approved. Rustam Minnikhanov stressed that it is important to keep the whole image of the area and reconstruct historical monuments.
