In Tatarstan, for the first half of the year, 45% of housing from the plan for 2020 was introduced. This was told by the deputy head of the Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilshat Gimaev at the round table held in the department. “Tatarstan has committed to introduce 2 million 979 thousand square meters of housing. According to the results of the first half of the year, we reached the indicator of 1 million 249 thousand square meters, which is 45% of the annual plan,” - said the speaker. “Compared to last year, we dipped by 5%, but I think we’ll catch up with the lag during the month,” - the deputy minister added. According to Gimaev, restrictive measures did not affect the construction industry, so the buildings continued to be erected, and the offices of construction companies switched to a remote format of work.
