President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov examined the new cancer center in Naberezhnye Chelny. He was accompanied by the Minister of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Sadykov, the Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Aizatullin and the mayor of the city Nail Magdeev. The outpatient polyclinic and radiological centers were built as part of the modernization of the Naberezhnye Chelny branch of the Republican Clinical Oncological Dispensary of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan. The goal of the project is to reduce mortality from malignant neoplasms. The centers are designed for 100 thousand visits and 30 thousand radiation therapy sessions per year. The construction became possible with the support of the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, timed to coincide with the 50th anniversary of "KAMAZ" PJSC. To date, construction and installation work has been completed by almost 100%. At present, the commissioning of electrical and low-current systems and the installation of medical equipment are underway. Rustam Minnikhanov positively assessed the quality of the construction work carried out, and added that the new center should begin work after the holidays.
