In 2020, about 4.5 thousand objects were built, repaired and reconstructed for a total amount of more than 100 billion rubles. Such data were announced by the head of the Ministry of Construction of Tatarstan Marat Aizatullin at the final meeting of the board of the Ministry of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan. Note that 2020 was held under the auspices of the 100th anniversary of the republic. “Despite the epidemiological situation in the country, the builders coped with the tasks set in preparation for the anniversary with dignity. The Palace of Culture named after Said-Galiyev in Kazan was reconstructed, the largest in Europe youth extreme park "Uram" was opened. Also, on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Victory, restoration and improvement works were carried out in the Victory Park of the capital, the building of the Kazan NCC was reconstructed. Marat Aizatullin paid special attention to the topic of capital repairs of apartment buildings. “In the reporting year, 1,063 apartment buildings were repaired under the overhaul program. More than 900 facilities have been repaired and built as part of the utility infrastructure modernization programs".
