The head of the Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Tatarstan stressed the importance of ensuring high quality of construction work. The first point of inspection was the construction site of the new student dormitory of the Kazan State Power Engineering University. Accompanied by the rector of the higher educational institution Edward Abdullazyanov and the general contractor, the minister examined the premises of the new 21-storey building, discussed the current situation at the facility with the contractors, and assessed the construction progress. As reported to Marat Aizatullin, today work is underway to install a ventilation, sewerage, heating, power supply system, a curtain wall system and insulation, and the brickwork of partitions is being completed. Edward Abdullazyanov said that it was thanks to the support of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov that the facility was included in the federal target program in 2017. The construction of the dormitory began in 2019. The second object, which was examined by Marat Aizatullin, was the construction site of a dormitory for students of the Kazan National Research Technical University named after A.N. Tupolev (KNITU-KAI). The builders reported on the work carried out on the arrangement of sand and gravel and concrete preparation, reinforcement and concreting of grillages.
