World Occupational Safety Day is an important tool for preventing accidents and injuries in the workplace.
Construction is one of the most injury-prone sectors of the economy. Therefore, occupational safety issues on construction sites are particularly relevant.
Each of us can make a contribution to the fight against injuries and accidents in the workplace. Thus, the authorities are responsible for developing national policies and programmes, and oversight systems for ensuring compliance with occupational safety and health standards and regulations.
In turn, workers must comply with safety regulations, not expose themselves and colleagues to unreasonable risks, know their rights and participate in preventive measures.
In Tatarstan, by Order of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan dated 03/10/2025 No. 488-r, from April 15 to June 15, 2025, events dedicated to the World Day of Occupational Safety and Health are being held. Among them are the training of workers on occupational safety issues, competitive reviews, round tables, etc.
