In Tatarstan, over 140,000 people voted for the creation of new public spaces in 2026 under the national project "Infrastructure for Life"

The approval of the list of facilities for the creation of new public spaces within the framework of the federal program "Creating a comfortable urban environment" of the national project "Infrastructure for Life" takes place with the active participation of residents through the voting procedure.

This was announced last Saturday at a meeting at the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan by First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan Damir Shaidullin.

Alexey Pesoshin, Prime Minister of Tatarstan, held a videoconference meeting with all municipal districts.

According to the first deputy head of the Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Tatarstan, this year the selection of public spaces prioritized for improvement in 2026 began on April 21. Since 2018, the annual Rating Vote on the selection of public space projects has become a prerequisite for the implementation of the federal program "Creating a comfortable Urban Environment".

As last year, the vote on the selection of public spaces is combined with the vote on determining the priority list of courtyard territories of the republican program "Our Yard".

The voting procedure takes place on the Portal of state and municipal services of the Republic of Tatarstan through the service "Polls of residents" (gorodsreda.tatar.ru ) and in the RT Services mobile application. This year, 283 public spaces in all 45 municipalities of the republic and 812 courtyards of Tatarstan are on the voting list. At the moment, 140,130 people have voted, which is about 35% of the total plan.

Recall that the voting will last until June 12. The winning facilities will be included in the improvement program for 2026.
