In Naberezhnye Chelny, a 579-meter-long section of water supply networks along Sluyzovaya Street has been overhauled. The facility is included in the program of the national project "Infrastructure for Life", 20 million 445 thousand rubles have been allocated for this purpose.
According to the State Institution "Main Directorate of Engineering Networks of the Republic of Tatarstan", the steel pipeline of water supply networks along Sluizovaya Street with a total length of 1.65 km was commissioned in 1972. During this period, the waterproofing of pipes has been disrupted, and an intensive corrosion process is currently underway. Emergency situations were repeatedly eliminated in the surveyed areas. Network wear exceeds more than 85%.
In order to eliminate the processes of corrosion of water supply networks, their major renovation has begun this year. The renovation will be continued in 2026-2027. As a result of the work carried out, the quality of services will be improved for 11,585 residents of the village of ZYAB.
In 2025, 36 facilities will be renovated under the national project "Infrastructure for Life" for a total amount of 3 billion 200 million rubles, including 1.5 billion from the republican budget.
In addition, at the initiative of the Rais of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, the republican program for the modernization of municipal infrastructure was launched, which includes 100 facilities. The total completion of the work provided for by the federal and republican programs is 57%.
