6 out of 16 participating applications from Tatarstan won the X All-Russian competition of the best projects for creating a comfortable urban environment. The award ceremony was held at Kazan Expo as part of the All-Russian Forum "Development of Small Towns and Historical Settlements". The awards were presented to the winners by the Minister of Construction and Housing of Russia Irek Fayzullin.
So, the winner in the category of cities and strong settlements of 20-50 thousand people was the village of Vysokaya Gora, the park "Zakazanye" (the grant amount is 91.8 million rubles).
In the category of cities and strongholds, 5-20 thousand people won:
- Kukmor with a project to revitalize the central city streets — Voroshilov and Lenin (from Chernyshevsky St. to Musa Jalil St., the grant amount is 76.5 million rubles);
- village. Aksubaevo, a project to improve the territory surrounded by Lenin, Sovetskaya and Romanova streets (the grant amount is 76.5 million rubles);
- Alekseevskoye settlement, a project to improve the territory surrounded by Kazakova Street, Sovetskaya Square and Cathedral Square (the grant amount is 76.5 million rubles);
- Menzelinsk, the project "The path from a roadside to a comfortable urban environment. Improvement of Karieva Street" (the grant amount is 76.5 million rubles);
- Tetyusha, the project "Dialogue of generations - the revival of Malkin Street" (the grant amount is 76.5 million rubles).
In total, the republic received 474.3 million rubles of a federal grant for the implementation of new public spaces. The renovated spaces will appear in the Republic in 2026-2027.
In 2025, 424 applications were sent to the All–Russian competition, and 103 applications were sent to the competition for the regions of the Far East. As a result, 240 winners were selected in the All–Russian competition and 54 in the competition for the regions of the Far Eastern Federal District.
