Improvement programs for 61 public spaces have been implemented in Tatarstan

The implementation of programs for the improvement of 61 public spaces totaling 1 billion 896 million rubles has been completed. This was announced last Saturday at a meeting in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan by the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Aizatullin.

Over the past two weeks, 8 facilities have been commissioned in 7 municipalities: two in Mendeleevsky, Drozhzhanovsky, Nizhnekamsk, Chistopolsky, Bugulminsky, Zelenodolsk districts and Naberezhnye Chelny. 

As part of the republican program for the formation of a modern urban environment, 10 facilities worth more than 185.7 million rubles have been renovated.

51 public spaces were improved under the federal program "Creating a comfortable urban environment" of the national project "Infrastructure for Life". This includes 44 parks and squares in 38 municipalities with financing of more than 1 billion 127 million rubles.  In addition, the national project includes 7 winning sites of the All-Russian competition of small towns and historical settlements in Agryzsky, Arsky, Verkhneuslonsky, Mendeleevsky. Chistopolsky and two in Zelenodolsk districts. The amount of financing exceeded 583 million rubles.

Recall that the winners of the 10th All-Russian competition for the best projects for creating a comfortable urban environment were 6 settlements with their projects: the village of Vysokaya Gora, the cities of Kukmor, Menzelinsk, Tetyushi, the villages of Aksubaevo and Alekseevskoye. The award ceremony was held at Kazan Expo as part of the All-Russian Forum "Development of Small Towns and Historical Settlements". In total, the republic received 474.3 million rubles of federal grant for the implementation of these public spaces in 2026-2027.
