In Kukmor, the 1st stage of restoration of the office building of the Komarov Brothers factory is being completed – the completion is estimated at 96%.
The restorers have carried out a significant amount of work in the dilapidated building with an area of more than 340 square meters. We reinforced the foundation structure, partially replaced the log cabin, installed waterproofing, and installed power supply networks. They also restored the historical masonry, updated the attic floor, restored the wooden paneling and the decoration of the carved facades. The builders are currently finishing the building's structures, facade cladding and interior decoration.
The unique two-storey wooden house of the Komarov office on Vakhitova Street was built in 1870 and recognized as an object of cultural heritage. In Kukmor, the brothers founded a successful production of felt boots.
Repair and restoration work is included in the federal program "Family Values and Cultural infrastructure", which is part of the national project "Family". Over 56.96 million rubles have been allocated for these purposes, including 11.96 million from the national budget.
