Construction of the first section of the second line of the Kazan Metro continues

The second line of the Kazan Metro will connect five districts of the city: Privolzhsky, Sovetsky, Novo-Savinovsky, Moskovsky and Kirovsky.

The first section, 5.37 km long, includes 4 stations: "100th Anniversary of the TASSR" (Julius Fuchik St.), "Akademicheskaya" (intersection of Fuchik and Zavoysky Streets), "Zilant" (intersection of Fuchik and Lomzhinskaya Streets) and "Tulpar" (intersection of Pobedy Avenue and Sakharov Street). The total completion of the work has reached 46% so far.

Metro builders are installing waterproofing and reinforced concrete structures for ventilation kiosks at Tulpar station. Interior finishing works, bricklaying, installation of external and internal ventilation systems, and cable structures are continuing.

Reinforced concrete structures of the station, brickwork, etc. are being installed at the Zilant station.

Waterproofing, installation of the main reinforced concrete structures of the station, brickwork, partial backfilling of reinforced concrete structures, etc. are carried out at the Akademicheskaya station.

Construction of a roughing trough and the main reinforced concrete structures of the station, as well as waterproofing, has begun at the 100th Anniversary of the TASSR station.

Distillation tunnels have been installed between the stations "Tulpar", "Zilant", "Akademicheskaya" and "100th anniversary of the TASSR". The construction of a connecting line from Dubravnaya station to the 100th Anniversary of the TASSR station continues.
