Reconstruction of a water pumping station with a total network length of 30.5 km continues in Leninogorsk under the national project "Infrastructure for Life".

The water supply system in Leninogorsk was built in the 1990s. According to the State Institution "Main Directorate of Engineering Networks of the Republic of Tatarstan", during operation, the wear of the network reached 85% and needed major repairs.

The reconstruction of the water pipeline is divided into three stages. 7.5 km of pipes were renewed in 2025. 8.2 km is planned to be replaced this year. The rest of the network will be included in the 2027 program.

314 million rubles have been allocated for work in 2026. According to experts, the pipeline will be laid using two methods: horizontal inclined drilling – 2.4 km and open–pit drilling - 5.8 km. At the same time, polyethylene and steel pipes will be used. The builders started the reconstruction in January, and now the total completion rate has reached 20%. The completion of this part of the facility is scheduled for November.

The main goal of the reconstruction of the water pipeline is uninterrupted and high-quality provision of household drinking water and fire-fighting water supply to 68,000 residents of Leninogorsk and 8 rural settlements of the district.

Recall that in Tatarstan in 2026, 17 facilities worth a total of 2.5 billion rubles will be modernized under the national project "Infrastructure for Life".
