At the end of May, Voronezh will host the participants of the traditional architectural forum "Architecture of the VRN"
From May 21 to 22, the architectural forum "Architecture of the VRN" will be held in Voronezh. The largest professional event in the field of architecture and urban development in the regions of Central Russia has been held since 2007. The forum is organized by the Government of the Voronezh Region and the Ministry of Architecture and Urban Development of the Voronezh Region.
A competition program is being held within the framework of the forum. Its purpose is to identify authors whose projects have been successfully implemented and project proposals that demonstrate successful examples of architectural and urban planning policy and the design of buildings or reconstruction of capital construction facilities in all cities of Russia and neighboring countries. The competition program of the architectural forum "Architecture of the VRN 2026" includes viewing contests "Creativity of students of architectural universities and colleges", "Projects" and "Buildings".
In 2026, the forum will consider completed or planned projects in the period from 2024 to 2026.
Eight nominations have been identified for which competitive solutions will be presented: multi-apartment residential buildings, low-rise buildings, social and cultural facilities, open public spaces, industrial architecture and urban planning, interior design of public buildings, urban planning/local territories, urban planning/urban planning systems.
Registration of the contest participants is organized until April 5 (no later than 16.00 Moscow time), submission of materials for publication in the catalog - until April 10 (no later than 16.00 Moscow time), acceptance of competitive projects - until April 25 (no later than 10.00 Moscow time).
All competitive works will be presented at the exhibition site of the architectural forum "Architecture of the VRN".
