23 April 2026, Thursday

Today, the traditional Supplier Day was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan. The event, organized together with the management company “UNISTROY,” was attended by leading experts of the construction industry of Tatarstan, project managers, and entrepreneurs.

Opening the meeting, Aydar Akhmetzyanov, Head of the Department for Territorial Development of the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan, noted the effectiveness of dialogue between development leaders and manufacturers.

“Supplier Day is a platform where new partnerships are formed and the foundation is laid for the implementation of ambitious construction projects in our republic. Here, direct cooperation links are built between developers and local manufacturers of construction materials and equipment,” said the head of the department. “The Ministry is currently focused on finding new growth points that will not only maintain construction rates but also optimize internal processes to ensure sustainable development of the industry.”

Participants were reminded that the construction complex of Tatarstan is one of the largest sectors of the economy, accounting for more than 7 percent of the gross regional product. The volume of work in the “construction” sector reached record levels in 2025 and exceeded 1 trillion rubles. The main driver of the construction industry is housing construction. For the fifth consecutive year, the republic has exceeded the level of 3 million square meters. In 2026, it is planned to commission 3 million 175 thousand square meters of housing.

During the Supplier Day, the International BRICS Construction Week, which will be held from November 10 to 13 at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Center, was announced. The forum will include an exhibition showcasing innovative technologies, construction and finishing materials, and successful projects. Plenary sessions with the participation of heads of federal authorities and ministers of BRICS countries, as well as a meeting of the State Council of the Russian Federation Commission on the “Infrastructure for Life” direction, are also planned.

The event concluded with business meetings between the developer company and suppliers.
