Builders have completed major repairs of the Batyr sports school in Mendeleevsk
The building of the Batyr sports school has been renovated in Mendeleevsk.
As part of the republican program with funding of 24.5 million rubles, the roof, facade and entrance area of the building were renovated, ventilation and fire alarm systems were installed. Locker rooms, showers, bathrooms, and a wrestling room have also been renovated.
The sports school was founded in 2000 and is the only multifunctional sports facility in the Mendeleevsky district. There are sections for freestyle wrestling, boxing, martial arts, belt wrestling, table tennis, a game room and a gym.
Recall that this year Tatarstan is implementing programs to repair 25 sports facilities with funding of over 1.359 billion rubles. Work has been completed on 6 sites.
