Documents are being prepared for the commissioning of the first stage of the residential complex on the site of the former industrial zone near Voznesensky tract
Tatarstan Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Marat Aizatullin and State Duma Deputy Ilya Wolfson assessed the readiness of the first stage of the Voznesensky Quarter residential complex in Kazan. The construction of the residential complex is underway as part of the renovation of the industrial zone in the Voznesensky Tract area. Nail Galeev, General Director of the SMU-88 Group of companies, conducted a tour of the facility.
Marat Aizatullin and Ilya Wolfson inspected the public spaces of the complex, parking, sports grounds and recreation areas in the courtyard. They were also presented with the concept of multi-format residential complex premises: an office for remote work, a cinema room, a fitness area, a children's playground and a teen center. At the moment, all construction work at the facility has been completed, and documents are being prepared for the first stage.
The construction of the Voznesensky quarter began in the summer of 2021. The first section from Gvardeyskaya Street to Pobedy Avenue with a length of 3.8 km was opened on October 12, 2023 by Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan. In December 2024, traffic was launched along the second stage, an almost 8–kilometer section from Pobedy Avenue to the M-7 Volga highway. As a result, the new 11.3 km long highway connected the Ametyevskaya highway with the M-7 and became the fifth outbound road in Kazan, designed, among other things, to relieve the Mamadyshsky tract.
