The water supply system, which was put into operation almost half a century ago, has been repaired in Naberezhnye Chelny
In the 11th residential area of Naberezhnye Chelny, major repairs of a 4.5 km long water pipeline were completed on time. Construction and installation work was carried out under the federal program "Modernization of communal infrastructure" of the national project "Infrastructure for Life" with financing of 143.4 million rubles.
According to the State Institution "Main Directorate of Engineering Networks of the Republic of Tatarstan", the water supply networks of 11 residential districts were commissioned in 1978. During this period, the pipes were overgrown with corrosion products. And here the impulses were repeatedly eliminated.
During the renovation, high-strength polyethylene pipes with diameters from 110 mm to 315 mm were laid on the site. 68 wells have also been installed. Now over 12,000 residents of the district will be provided with high-quality water supply.
It should be recalled that this year the program of the national project "Infrastructure for Life" includes 15 municipal facilities in Naberezhnye Chelny.
