The Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Tatarstan Continues Accepting Entries for the Journalism Contest
On September 1, the Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Tatarstan launched a journalism contest recognizing the best coverage of topics related to construction, architecture, and the housing and utilities sector in the Republic of Tatarstan.
The contest accepts articles, TV segments, and informational, analytical, and news pieces produced between October 2025 and September of the current year.
The contest features six categories, with a winner (1st place) and runners-up (2nd and 3rd places) selected in each:
- "Urban Environment" (covering the improvement of courtyards, parks, and public squares, including the implementation of republic-level and federal programs in Tatarstan);
- "Quality of Life" (covering major renovations of common property in apartment buildings and of social and cultural facilities in Tatarstan);
- "Residential Real Estate" (covering housing construction, the development of the mortgage market, and methods and programs for purchasing housing in Tatarstan);
- "Social Infrastructure" (covering the construction of social infrastructure facilities, such as those for education, healthcare, culture, sports, and youth policy in Tatarstan);
- "Housing and Utilities in Focus" (covering the modernization of utility infrastructure and the development of the housing and utilities sector in Tatarstan);
- "Professionals in the Field" (covering the work of professionals in the construction and housing and utilities sectors of Tatarstan).
Additionally, a special category, "Dedication to the Topic," was established in 2025. It is awarded to an individual participant or an editorial team for active media support of the Ministry's work in implementing federal and republic-level construction and major renovation programs.
