Almost half of the loans this year were used to purchase housing on the primary real estate market. In Tatarstan, for six months of 2020, loans for the purchase of housing were sold for a total amount of 36.7 billion rubles. The Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan Farit Khanifov announced this at a briefing in the RT Cabinet. “Loans received and realized, we have 17,593 for the first half of the year - this is 36 billion 738 million rubles,” - said Khanifov. More than 10.5 billion rubles, or 49% of this amount, are loans for the primary market. At the same time, the support in the value of 6.5%, which was valid until November 1 of this year, helped to align and increase the processes of obtaining loans and loans for construction, he said.

About one thousand loans for the purchase of houses and apartments are issued in the republic per month. In the Republic of Tatarstan, up to 260 loans for housing are issued per week. If we translate these figures into the number of residents of the republic who received loans to build a house and buy an apartment, it turns out that a small settlement appears in Tatarstan in a month, the speaker noted. By 2024, the Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Tatarstan plans to build about 3 million 600 sq. meters of housing. “In five years we need to grow by half a million square meters. ", - said the speaker. He also noted that in Tatarstan by 2024 it is planned to increase the volume of housing commissioning up to 3 648 thousand square meters. According to the minister, this will increase the provision of housing from the current 27.3 square meters per person up to almost 31.3 square meters. In addition, the head of the Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Tatarstan said that half of the loans this year were used to purchase housing in the primary real estate market. “In general, loans received and sold, we have for the first half of the year 17,593 - this is 36 billion 738 million rubles. It's nice that 49% of this pool is loans for the primary market. In the republic, we have an increase of more than 3%, ” - he said.
