On December 12, at the Kazan International Equestrian Sport Complex, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov handed over keys to new special vehicles to road maintenance services of the republic.

In total, municipalities received 207 pieces of equipment for clearing streets and roads. Work on updating the fleet of special vehicles was carried at the initiative of Tatarstan President, with over 700 million roubles being allocated for purchasing the equipment.

Speaking at the event, Minnikhanov noted that the topic of clearing cities and regional centres from snow has become more acute recently, because most vehicles are worn out or in poor condition. Therefore, we decided to allocate targeted financing to purchase the required vehicles, " Tatarstan President said.
