Deputy Minister Ilshat Gimaev received a business delegation from Hunan Province of the People's Republic of China headed by Zhu Hongchao, Director General of the China-Russia Industrial Park "Saosyan-Volga". The meeting was held in order to develop economic cooperation between Hunan Province and entrepreneurs of the Republic of Tatarstan. During the presentation of the film about the results of the Ministry's activities for 2017, the Deputy Minister told about the achievements of the construction complex of the republic. The Chinese side showed an interest in implementing various promising projects on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan, expressing readiness to cooperate both in the field of agricultural industry, housing construction, civil aviation, and in the energy and transport sectors.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly stressed the need to increase the affordability of housing for citizens. And above all - for young families with children. In the microdistrict "Salavat Cooper" of Kazan, an 18-storey residential building was commissioned. Its new settlers became 102 families, including family of Mukhametzyanovs, who received a three-room apartment on the social mortgage program for employees of the budgetary sphere. The implementation of the social mortgage began in the republic in 2005. This is a unique program that provides families with affordable housing with quality finishes in new buildings. Residential premises are provided with payment by installments with registration in the property after full payment of funds.
On January 26, speaking at the Government House of the republic, at a regional video-conference held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of First regional Deputy Prime Minister Rustam Nigmatullin and all regions of the republic, Tatarstan Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities Irek Faizullin reported that 43 municipal regions of the republic are taking part in the capital repair programme, that is 995 multi-apartment houses with the total area of 5.3 million square metres, to improve living conditions of over 200,000 citizens.

In total, the second branch will include 12 stations and will be about 3 km longer than the first one. Completely the second branch of the Kazan Metro will be built around 2030 - 2050. It will pass through Pioneerskaya Street and Compressor Plant, said Andrey Zakharchenko, Deputy General Director of the Main Investment and Construction Department of the Republic of Tatarstan. In total, the branch will include 12 stations and will be approximately 3 km longer than the first - about 20 km compared to 17.1 km, he noted. Construction of the first section of the second branch will cost about five times as much than 1 billion rubles, which will be invested by the shopping center "Mega". All other funds will come from the republican budget, Zakharchenko explained.
Young scientists of the Kazan State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering Ruslan Ibragimov and Rustem Mukhametrahimov became the winners of the contest of grants of the President of the Russian Federation among young Russian scientists in 2018-2019 for the amount of 1.2 million each. One of the strategic tasks set by the President of Russia Vladimir Putin is to increase the accessibility of quality education that meets the requirements of innovative economic development, the current needs of society and every citizen. According to it, in order to meet the personnel requirements in 2014, a program of capital repairs of resource centers started in Tatarstan. For three years, 31 professional educational organizations were repaired for 2.7 billion rubles. On the basis of updated professional educational organizations in 2014-2017, 25 resource centers were established. The forecast for 2018 is the creation of 6 resource centers.
