In the current year, the republic plans to build 10 new schools for 6.4 billion rubles. This was told by Deputy Minister Ilshat Gimayev within the framework of the familiarization press tour organized by the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan. "6.42 billion rubles will be allocated for the construction of new schools from the federal and republican budgets. Last year, 6 educational institutions with a capacity of 5,047 people were completed. The cost of the work amounted to 4.34 billion rubles," - Ilhamat Gimayev said. During the press tour, correspondents of TV channels, operators and journalists were able to get acquainted with the progress of construction of the school for 800 places in the residential complex" Svetlaya Dolina". The general director of the contract organization "Altyn Group" Dinar Batrutdinov conducted an excursion on the object under construction. In the new school will be an assembly hall for 270 seats, a canteen for 400 people and a modern medical center. In the yard there will be football and volleyball fields, as well as a tennis court.

On February 2, speaking at a regional video-conference held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of Chairman of the local State Council Farid Mukhametshin, Acting Prime Minister of the republic Rustam Nigmatullin and all regional municipalities in the Government House of the republic, Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities of the Republic of Tatarstan Irek Faizullin reported that the State Construction Inspectorate and State Labour Inspectorate of the republic have carried out 35 inspections and self-regulatory organizations have carried out  inspections at 33 member organizations.

In 2017 in the framework of planned, unscheduled inspections, inspection surveys conducted in Aksubaevsky, Alekseevsky, Alkeyevsky, Nurlatsky, Spassky and Chistopol districts, 1158 houses with a total area of ​4,424.9 thousand square meters were surveyed. Based on the results of the surveys, 2067 violations were identified, for the elimination of which 901 instructions were issued, 53 protocols on administrative violations with total amount of 178,000 rubles were drawn up, of which 129800 rubles were paid.

Eight new swimming pools and five gyms in the Tatarstan regions will be put into operation this summer. "The President of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, decided in September 2017 to build eight swimming pools and five gyms that create the prerequisites and conditions for the development of mass sports," -  the deputy minister added. Each pool will have two separate bowls for children and adults. Sports halls will be equipped with necessary modern equipment.
