On January 13, speaking at a regional video-conference held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all regions of the republic, Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities of the republic Irek Faizullin reported that 995 multi-apartment houses with the total area of 5,300,000 square metres will be overhauled in Tatarstan in 2018. It is planned to improve living facilities for over 224,000 citizens of the republic.

In Tatarstan this year will be compiled a rating of management companies. A number of criteria have already been determined, according to which their work will be evaluated in 2017. This was stated at a press conference in the IA "Tatar-Inform" executive director of the Regional center of public control in the sphere of housing and communal services of the RT Dmitry Romanov. According to the speaker, among the center's plans for the current year is the provision of training for secondary schools in the classroom format on the topic "Youth and Housing", video seminars on housing and communal services, All-Russian Day of Neighbors. He also informed that a new site of the Center for Public Control - "To help the owner" - was launched. It will be possible to leave a complaint and receive training.

From today, in the building of the Ministry along Dzerzhinsky Street 10, collection and accumulation of used low-current chemical sources (batteries and accumulators) is being carried out. The container was provided free of charge by the company SAO "ERGO", which will take care of their free service. The project is implemented with the support of the Ministry of Construction of Russia. This initiative is aimed at the formation of responsible consumption, careful attitude of people to the environment, as well as increasing the ecological literacy of the population.

On January 9, speaking at the first in the current year regional video-conference held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin, Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities of the republic Irek Faizullin reported that as many as 2,403,000 square meters of housing will be commissioned in Tatarstan in 2018.

From 20 to 24 November in Moscow, the annual festival "Russian National Award for Landscape Architecture" was held. Participants from Moscow, St. Petersburg, the Republic of Tatarstan, Belgorod, Voronezh, Sverdlovsk, Samara, Rostov, Ryazan, Tyumen, Moscow, Leningrad, Krasnodar, Krasnoyarsk, Perm districts, as well as Germany, Italy, Switzerland and Poland, presented their work (projects and actualization on the territory of Russia for the last 5 years) to the professional jury evaluation.

February 15, 2018 in Sochi on the site of the Russian Investment Forum, organized by the Roskognress Foundation, will be held the ceremony of awarding the winners of the national premium in the infrastructure of Rosinfra. The organizer of the award is the National  Center for Public-Private Partnership with the support of the All-Russian Public Organization "Delovaya Rossiya", the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation and the Agency for Strategic Initiatives. Among the nominations are the best projects in the social, communal and transport spheres. In some nominations, the best bankers, investors and consultants will be awarded. About 3 thousand events will take place in the framework of the urban environment festival "Go out for a walk", initiated by the Ministry of Construction of Russia, told to RIA "Nedvizimost" Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing Andrei Chibis. According to the interlocutor of the agency, the festival started on December 15, and will end on April 10. Chibis clarified that the geography of the festival covers the territories from Kaliningrad to Primorye, among the participating regions are, for example, the Chechen and Karachay-Cherkess Republics, the Kaluga, Murmansk and Irkutsk regions, as well as the republics of Yakutia and Tatarstan. In the architectural and educational space "BFFT. Space" the meeting of the Minister Irek Faizullin with the heads of the departments on humanitarian and socio-economic sciences of the universities of the Republic of Tatarstan was held. Opening the meeting, Irek Fayzullin stressed that the country has accumulated a significant positive experience of socially-oriented state policy. A lot of socially significant projects are implemented that contribute to improving the quality of life in municipalities. Thanks to the republican programs, it was possible to raise the construction industry, increase the population's access to cultural and leisure activities, mass sports, and improve the quality of medical services. During the conversation, the minister presented to the audience the main directions for implementing state policy in the sphere of construction, housing and communal services in 2017 and outlined the tasks ahead. The head of the Ministry of Construction of Tatarstan during the speech asked numerous questions, in particular about the "green" energy, on the introduction of "smart" technologies in housing, communal services and construction. All participants of the event expressed gratitude for the organization of this event, and also noted the usefulness of the meeting.
