This year we celebrate Republic Day with a special feeling. Exactly one hundred years ago, a decree on the formation of the Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic was adopted. This event influenced not only the development of the Tatar people but also all others who lived then and now live on this land. We have passed a rather difficult path. Century after century, our peoples have learned from each other, learned to coexist peacefully. Now, looking back from the height of the past years, one can proudly say that Tatarstan has become a common home. And such solidarity is our strength, a solid foundation for a great future. I want to thank everyone for their sincere participation in preserving peace in our land and for the efforts made to make our native land more beautiful and more comfortable. Today in the Kazan village Yudino, after a major overhaul, the opening of the Palace of Culture of Railwaymen took place. In addition to the main concert hall with 480 seats, two multifunctional halls have been created. During the reconstruction, special attention was paid to the railway museum, which combines historical artifacts related to the village and the development of the railway business. In parallel with the overhaul of the palace of culture, work was underway on the square in front of the recreation center. The fountain has been restored, small architectural forms have been installed, lighting has been updated, the territory has been landscaped with greenery.

President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Marat Khusnullin, Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of Russia in the Volga Federal District Igor Komarov, and other honored guests walked along the updated embankment of the Kaban Lake. Let us recall that the opening of the second stage of the Kaban Lake embankment took place today and is timed to the Day of the Republic of Tatarstan. So, a sports ground, a city barbecue area have appeared and are actively working here, there are training sessions for a children's and youth sports school in rowing sports, a dendrology and lake cleaning system have been created. Bicycle paths have appeared, so much in demand by the citizens, as well as boat rental, a cafe, and a toilet.

In recent years, the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as the Russian Federation as a whole, has undergone large-scale transformations aimed at creating a comfortable and safe environment for the life of the population, improving the quality of the urban environment. This year, the republic plans to improve 62 facilities worth more than 2 billion rubles. The program "Formation of a comfortable urban environment" was launched in 2017 as part of the National Priority Project "Housing, Utilities and Urban Environment". At the same time, Tatarstan became the “source” of the program; in 2015, the Decree “On declaring 2015 in the Republic of Tatarstan the Year of Parks and Squares” was signed. 2015-2019 382 objects were equipped in the republic, 11.4 billion were invested. Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, speaking about the development of public spaces, has repeatedly emphasized: "Tatarstan should be such a place where you want to live, and where everyone should strive to come." “Despite the epidemiological situation in the country, all the tasks will be completed efficiently and on time. Public spaces should not only decorate the republic but also form a new cultural and social standard of living for citizens,” - said Minister of Construction Farit Khanifov.

The President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the solemn opening of two sports facilities at once in Naberezhnye Chelny. These are the "Pobeda" training football arena and "KAMAZ" indoor skating rink with synthetic ice. Thus, the football arena has a gym, a medical block, and other administrative and utility rooms. The size of the "Pobeda" football arena is 90 x 45 m. For 700 children and adolescents who are engaged in the local "Stroitel" sports school for children, this is an important and demanded facility. The arena will be open all year round. Let us remind you that the indoor skating rink was built within the framework of the national project "Sport - the norm of life".

Since the beginning of the year, the State Construction Supervision Inspectorate of the republic has carried out 843 inspections. For violation of the rules and norms of labor protection, 100 decisions were issued for a total amount of 3 million 836 thousand rubles. Self-regulatory organizations carried out inspections of 1 thousand 11 organizations - members of the SRO. This was announced today at a meeting in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan by the Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan Farit Khanifov. According to the housing construction programs, as of August 27, 1,733.6 thousand square meters of housing were commissioned in the republic. This is over 58% of the plan. The dynamics of housing commissioning in 2 weeks amounted to 83.4 thousand square meters. By the corresponding period of last year, 104.6% was introduced.

Two sports grounds at once opened in Naberezhnye Chelny today. In schools № 11 and № 22. The opening ceremony of the sports facilities was attended by the mayor of the city Nail Magdeev. First, the solemn event took place at school № 11. The mini-playground for football was built within the framework of the republican program for the construction of playgrounds. The school has sports sections for basketball, football, general physical training. Students actively take part in city sports competitions, TRP festivals, relay races.

Recall that since 2013, with the support of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, a large-scale project has been implemented to build universal sports grounds in all municipalities. In the period from 2013 to 2020, 1119 universal sports grounds were built in the Republic of Tatarstan, including 92 such facilities in 2020.

The construction of a kindergarten for 340 children has been completed in the Kazan village Zalesnoye. The area of ​​the new two-story preschool institution is 5168 square meters. The building meets all the latest requirements of educational institutions. The kindergarten houses play and sleeping rooms, classrooms for classes, and a medical block. Walking grounds with shady canopies and a sports ground have been created in the adjacent territory. As part of the landscaping, trees and shrubs were planted, a lawn was arranged. The construction of the facility was carried out within the framework of the Demography national project. In Tatarstan, a lot of attention is paid to providing children with places in kindergartens. Thanks to the support of the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the republic from 2010 to 2019, 239 kindergartens were built for 37,585 children. This year, according to plans, there are 22 more kindergartens should be built.

On behalf of the Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan Farit Khanifov, today the Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Tatarstan hosted the awarding of a certificate of honor of the Ministry of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan "For labor success and contribution to the development of the construction industry in the Republic of Tatarstan" to the head of JSC "Alekseevskaya Keramika". Deputy Minister Ilshat Gimaev presented the certificate of honor. For reference: JSC "Alekseevskaya Keramika" takes part in federal and republican programs for the construction of social facilities: kindergartens, schools, cathedrals and mosques, as well as facilities of the State Housing Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan.

On August 27, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov together with Chief of Staff of Tatarstan President’s Administration Asgat Safarov, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and grandson of the writer Timerbulat Karimov took part in an unveiling ceremony of the monument to the famous Bashkir poet and writer Mustai Karim.

Mustai Karim is a classic of Bashkir literature and the author of outstanding works that have enriched the world cultural fund. He has published over 100 poetry and prose collections and over 10 dramatic works. Karim is a laureate of a number of literary awards and prizes. Participant of the World War II.

In his welcoming speech, Minnikhanov said that last year, the year of the 100th anniversary of Bashkortostan, a monument to the Tatar poet Gabdulla Tukay was unveiled in Ufa.

He expressed confidence that the establishment of the monument to Mustai Karim in Kazan will further strengthen the Tatar-Bashkir friendship, continue the traditions of cultural exchange and cooperation.

Tatarstan President handed in the medal “100th anniversary of the establishment of the Tatar ASSR" to the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov for his significant contribution to the development of cooperation between Tatarstan and Bashkortostan and strengthening of friendship and mutual understanding between peoples.

In his turn, Karimov thanked the leadership of Tatarstan and everyone who took part in the establishment of the monument.
