Today, the Ministry of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan held an annual seminar “New in legislation in urban planning and pricing in construction. Actual issues of state examination of project documentation, verification of the reliability of the estimated cost and estimated rationing in construction. The event was attended by experts from both the republic and nearby regions - government customers, investors, developers, contractors, construction and design organizations, educational institutions. The organizer of the seminar was the state Autonomous institution "Managment of state expertise and pricing in the Republic of Tatarstan for construction and architecture" together with the Ministry of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan.The seminar was opened by Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan Vladimir Kudryashev. “The relevance and significance of the seminar does not cause doubts, and holding this event meets the goals and objectives of the state policy in the field of construction and housing, as it contributes to further improving the existing practice of organizing construction and increasing the efficiency of capital construction,” said the Deputy Minister. During his speech, Vladimir Kudryashev noted that in 2018 significant changes in urban planning legislation entered into force. They touched absolutely all stages of construction: including design and expertise, the issuance of building permits, clarified the concept of capital construction.

According to the global architectural portal Archdaily, for six years of successful work, the UIA-HYP Cup has become one of the most influential and credible student competitions in the world, with wide influence in the field of architectural education in China and abroad. The jury consists of masters of architecture, deans of architectural faculties and directors of famous architectural schools. This year, the jury was chaired by Patrik Schumacher, head of the architectural bureau Zaha Hadid Architects. Approximately 2,000 architectural school students responded to the competition. The finalists and prize-winners of the competition were the students-architects of KGASU studios of teachers Ilnara and Rezeda Akhtyamovs. A team of 5th and 2nd year students: Irina Chikhireva, Daria Nikolaeva, Diana Kalimullina and Maria Svetovidova with the “Tower 2048” project took 3rd place with a reward of 10,000 Chinese yuan (CNY). Another team of students of the 5th, 4th, 3rd and 2nd courses - Ruslan Mannapov, Aigul Sadrtdinova, Lilya Yariyeva and Daria Butorina became the finalists of the competition.

In 2019 in Tatarstan will make a rating of management companies (MC). A meeting was held at the Main Investment and Construction Directorate of the Republic of Tatarstan on the implementation of the program “Overhaul of buildings of outpatient-polyclinic centers in 2018”. The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Public Utilities of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildur Nasyrov, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan, design and contract organizations. During the meeting, issues related to the completion of construction and installation work at the facilities were considered. To recap, in 2018 in the Republic of Tatarstan, under the overhaul program of outpatient clinics, 114 facilities are scheduled for repair. The total amount of funding is more than 3 billion rubles.

Opening the meeting, the Deputy Minister noted that the May Decree of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin of 2018 set clear goals for the regions in the construction industry: "Improving the living conditions of our citizens remains one of the key tasks. To solve it, it is important to increase the amount of housing commissioned every year," - he imphasized. Ilshat Gimaev reminded that today the plan for housing commissioning has been fulfilled in 9 municipalities (Pestrechinsky, Laishevsky, Tukayevsky, Vysokogorsky, Tyulyachinsky, Kaibitsky, Kukmorsky, Zainsky and Yutazinsky districts): tasks require rapid joint work of developers and resource supplying organizations. All problematic issues need to be addressed jointly, taking into account the interests of all parties. " The meeting discussed the formation of national programs in the construction sector for 2019-2021. At the end of the meeting, Ilshat Gimaev stressed that the main task is to maintain and improve the pace, paying special attention to the quality of construction.

From November 5 to November 19, 2018, the International School of Young Architect "ARTpolis" is held at the Kazan State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering (KGASU), in which students of the Institute of Architecture and Design take part in the KGASU joint diploma program - the University of East London, students architects from 13 universities in Russia and the near abroad: Perm, Voronezh, Samara, Izhevsk, Magnitogorsk, Orel, Novokuznetsk, Omsk, Saransk, Kursk, Penza and Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan), as well as high school students of Kazan schools, including students Children's architectural and design school "Dashka" (KGASU). The International School is organized by the International Relations Office and the Institute of Architecture and Design of KGASU with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan. The school is conducted as part of a grant from the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh). The school program consists of three blocks: a theoretical block, master classes and a workshop. The implementation of this project is very important for the city, since the development of culture gives impetus to the development of society and the economy as a whole, forms a favorable background and contributes to the transformation of the territory. The territory of the Kazan Theater of Young Spectators has a great potential to become a center of culture, a place of creative development of Kazan residents of all ages.

In the village of Pokrovsky Urustamak, Bavly District, the House of Culture was opened after major overhaul. For the repair of the building, 6.7 million rubles were allocated from the republican budget and 1.9 million rubles from the local budget. The area of ​​the object was 367.6 square meters. The roof, facade, engineering networks (heating, water supply, sewerage) were repaired, electrical installation and finishing works, repair of entrance groups, blind areas were carried out, window and door blocks were replaced. We remind you that the implementation of the overhaul program for cultural facilities of the Republic of Tatarstan began in 2015. Over 3 years of the Program implementation, a total of 114 cultural facilities were repaired, total funding amounted to 798.23 million rubles. In 2018, it is planned to overhaul 42 cultural facilities. As of November 1, work is underway at 6 objects. At 36 objects work completed.
