Marat Aizatullin took part in a meeting on the development of the Kazan agglomeration

A meeting on the development of the Kazan agglomeration was held in the Executive Committee of Kazan. Oleg Grigoriev, Director of the State Budgetary Institution "Institute of Spatial Development of the Republic of Tatarstan", presented to the participants of the meeting the master plan of the Kazan agglomeration, which is being developed on behalf of the Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

The meeting was attended by Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, Minister of Construction and Architecture of Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Aizatullin.

Work on the master plan began with detailed analytics on the number of employees and places of employment, the main channels and volumes of population movement were identified, the economy was analyzed, the provision of social facilities and recreational areas. Through the fixation of low-rise or high-rise construction, as well as residential housing, the population of the territories is determined.

Comments were made on the submitted project, which concerned the tracing of new roads, the development of engineering infrastructure, the volume of construction on various sites, the development of transport hubs, etc.

For a more detailed study of each big topic – transport, engineering, social infrastructure, etc. – it was decided to consider it separately. Meetings are scheduled in a weekly format with the participation of the Minister of Construction and the mayor of the city.

After completion of the work on the master plan, the document will be presented to the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

The meeting was also attended by Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Vladimir Kudryashev, First Deputy head of the municipal formation of Kazan Denis Kalinkin, head of the Executive Committee Rustem Gafarov and others.
