Prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation were discussed today by the Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan Irek Fayzullin and Chairman of the Board of the Turkish holding YDA Group Hussein Arslan. One of the main topics was public-private partnership in construction. In his welcoming speech, the Minister noted that the volume of construction work in Tatarstan in the forecast for 2018 will be 355 billion rubles, including budget construction and construction of commercial organizations. The main objects - the vast majority - are built by the enterprises of the republic. According to the latest statistics service, the number of employees in the construction industry is about 105 thousand people. "We have built a large number of objects with our Turkish partners in preparation for the millennium of Kazan, the Kul Sharif mosque, the reconstruction of the Kazan Kremlin, the residence of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan and a number of other significant objects," - said Irek Fayzullin. Chairman of the Board of YDA Group Hussein Arslan briefly spoke about the activities of the holding and the largest implemented projects: the construction of a financial center in Alma-Ata, Istanbul, the Central Bank of Turkey (as a partner). The holding also deals with the construction of airports, schools, hospitals, industrial buildings, bridges, railway lines, mass housing and many other facilities. "For 44 years, we have built facilities for 8 billion dollars, for today in the company work about 13 thousand employees," - stressed Hussein Arslan. The Turkish side showed interest in implementing various promising projects on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan, including those implemented on the principles of public-private partnership.
