Innovative new projects were presented today at the Ministry

20 March 2012, Tuesday

Today the RT Ministry of Construction, Architecture and HCS held the meeting within the frames of the joint plan for the scientific research development support realization. Innovation projects targeted for the design institutes and construction bureaus, as well as to the construction organizations fulfilling the zero stage of the buildings construction process have been considered together with the Kazan State University of Construction and Architecture (KazSCAU).

The meeting was chaired by A.S. Akhmetshin, Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and HCS.

Participating were: A.M. Suleymanov, the Provost for scientific-research activity of the KazSCAU, and I.T. Mirsayapov, Head of the Basis and Foundations, Constructions dynamics and Engineering geology Department.

In his greeting of the participants A.S. Akhmetshin mentioned that the newly formed tendency towards the new land plots development, which were previously inappropriate for construction, sets forth different requirements to the building foundations. It is therefore obligatory to make the competent and precise project documentation for the purposes of the long-term and safe operation of the building.

In the process of the discussion the participants analyzed the possibility of the high-altitude construction and underground parking in the city of Kazan. The developer’s opinion is that it could be possible due to the enforcement of the substructures and ground foundations. This technology will allow to improve the carrying ability and decrease the deformation of the building substructures and foundations.

The participants of the meeting have marked the necessity of the joint operation of the foundation soils estimation, as well as application of physical and mathematical model of the substructure soils during the process of designing.

The result of the meeting was the decision to support the submitted projects and include them into the list of the prospective projects of the RT Ministry of Construction, Architecture and HCS.

It should be noted that the submitted projects have undergone the laboratory research, and patent research is being carried out.
