Implementation of the program “Accessible Environment” discussed in the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan

Today, a videoconference meeting on the implementation of a long-term program of the Republic of Tatarstan “Accessible Environment” for the years of 2011-2015” took place in the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan. The meeting was held by Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing A.M. Frolov. Representatives of branch ministries, municipalities and contractors of the Republic responsible for carrying out the works at the objects of the program participated in the meeting.

During the meeting the participants discussed the issues of redesign and improvement of sidewalks and crosswalks as well as the progress and the procedure of the works at other objects of the program. According to GISU installation and construction works are being completed at the objects. A bidding process for the adaptation of socially significant objects was organized as a part of the program of 2012.
