The Republic of Tatarstan and Fund “RZhS” agree on the development of seven land plots

Today, a round table meeting of the Federal Fund for Housing Development (Fund “RZhS”) on the formation of the approaches to the integrated development of the land plots for housing construction in the Republic of Tatarstan took place in the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Today the Fund “RZhS” is one of the largest players in the land market which has effective tools to develop the economy class residential property market.

Since 2007 the annual volume of the housing construction in Tatarstan exceeded 2 million square meters and continues to grow every year. Currently, large metropolitan areas of the Republic are short of land plots to carry out further housing construction.

In the framework of the cooperation between the Fund “RZhS” and the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan there was made the decision to use 7 land plots with the total area of 153.65 hectares. The land plots were given for the integrated development for housing construction including the economy class residential property. Some of them are located in Kazan, and some land plots are located in Laishevsky area.

In the future it is planned to use more than a thousand hectares of the federal land. Today, the possibility of the development of these land plots for the housing construction, the construction of social infrastructure facilities, industrial parks, enterprises of the construction industry, business incubators, and for other purposes specified by the Federal Law 161-FZ, is being considered.

Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan I.E. Faizullin reported on the cooperation between Tatarstan and the federal structure. Deputy Director General of the Fund “RZhS” A.A.Fursin reported on the measures taken to support potential investors and developers. Reports were also made by leaders on funding opportunities and on possibilities of potential investors’ and developers’ project lending; main directions of the integrated development of land plots for housing construction were discussed.
