In Tatarstan this year, according to the social mortgage program, the commission of 130 residential buildings for 4,970 apartments with a total area of ​​273.6 thousand square meters is planned. The program is being implemented as part of the national project “Housing and Urban Environment.” This is stated in the materials for the meeting of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan. “The federal mechanisms have been integrated into the social mortgage program in the republic in order to provide housing for young families and orphans; citizens exposed to radiation, and persons equated to them; citizens who have left the regions of the Far North and territories equivalent to them, internally displaced persons, invalids, and veterans of the Great Patriotic War; as well as for the construction of housing for retired military personnel,” - the materials say. Under the program “State support to citizens of the Republic of Tatarstan in providing housing for 2019”, 119 residential buildings for 6,214 apartments with a total area of ​​358.1 thousand square meters were commissioned last year.
