The construction of treatment facilities for surface wastewater at the outlets of storm sewers in the water bodies of Kazan in the area of the Veterinary Academy is completed

An urgent problem is the pollution of water bodies by surface drains that are discharged through storm sewer networks and discharged without treatment. Due to the lack of treatment facilities, the percentage of unsatisfactory water samples in reservoirs remains high by bacterial and sanitary-chemical indicators. One of the sources of negative impact on the Kazanka river was the discharge of storm sewers from Sovetsky and Novo-Savinovsky districts of Kazan over an area of ​​59 hectares through an inlet pipe with a diameter of 1,200 mm and an outlet pipe with a diameter of 1,500 mm on Sibirsky Street. The contractor Sigma LLC entered the facility in September 2019. He performed pipe transfer, construction of a 30 × 21 × 5.4 m stock tank, a sewage treatment plant, installation of pumps, installation of a multi-stage filter system, improvement of the nearby territory was completed. Wastewater capacity - 30 l/s. The cost of the work performed is 90 million rubles. The work was carried out as part of the national project "Improvement of the Volga". Note that this year, within the framework of the national project "Improvement of the Volga", it is planned to build biological treatment facilities in the village Niznye Vyazovye Zelenodolsk municipal district, reconstruction of district treatment facilities for domestic and industrial wastewater in the SEZ PPT "Alabuga" and the city of Elabuga, construction of biological treatment facilities in the village Yurtovo of the Menzelinsky municipal district, the construction of biological treatment facilities in the village of Pestretsy of the Pestrechinsky municipal region, the construction of biological treatment plants in the village of Koshchakovo of the Pestrechinsky municipal region.
