The new building of the Republican Clinical Hospital named after Professor A. F. Agafonov in Kazan received a conclusion on compliance

The construction of the second building of the infectious diseases hospital began in April 2020. The hospital project was developed by the State Unitary Enterprise "Tatinvestgrazhdanproekt". The general contractor was "Ak Tash" LLC. The four-story building has 232 beds. If necessary, their number can be increased to 504 beds. The first floor is occupied by the reception and diagnostic department, the department of anesthesiology and intensive care for 12 beds, as well as blocks for preparing milk mixtures and disinfecting waste. On the second floor, there are 20 single wards and boxed wards. The latter are also located on the third and fourth floors. The new infectious diseases hospital is planned to be equipped with modern high-tech medical equipment, including ventilators, computed tomography, X-ray, endoscopic and ultrasound equipment. In addition to the main building, a building with an area of ​​1.5 thousand square meters was built, which inserts the laboratory building. The facility also includes a checkpoint, a boiler room, an oxygen station, a diesel generator, and a sewage pumping station.
