New rules for paperwork will reduce construction time
The new rules for processing documents for construction will reduce the administrative burden and will significantly reduce the construction time for new facilities. The first project implemented under a simplified system was the new building of the Republican Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital, the construction of which took exactly one hundred days. Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan Vladimir Kudryashev stated this at a press conference at the Tatar-inform news agency. “Since July, about 30% of accompanying documentation has been transferred to the category of recommendation. Under the old conditions, the construction of, for example, a typical hospital will take 23 - 29 months, whereas now the terms are significantly reduced. To date, the construction of such a hospital will take up to 10 months,” - Kudryashev said. He noted that if earlier of all almost 30 months, design and construction itself took only a fifth of the time, the rest was spent on obtaining permits, paperwork and similar activities, then with the new system construction and design already takes almost half of the time.
