Citizens will be able to send their feedback and suggestions over the Internet. From January 1, 2021, the authorities of cities and districts will have to post information about plans for the improvement of territories on the Internet, and citizens will be able to vote for them and make their proposals. Now, this practice is adopted mainly in large cities. From the new year, it will be introduced throughout the country. To launch this mechanism, the Government has made changes to the state program "Provision of affordable and comfortable housing and utilities." It will make it possible to make transparent decision-making regarding the improvement of urban areas. In addition to the results of the discussion of plans, citizens will be able to get access to information on the composition of public commissions for the consideration of improvement projects, get acquainted with the minutes and schedules of their meetings.
