Kazan and Apastovo became the winners of the All-Russian competition "The Best Municipal Practice"

Kazan took second place in the category "Modernization of the urban economy through the introduction of digital technologies and platform solutions ("Smart city")" of the All-Russian competition "Best municipal practice". In general, 95 applications from 39 constituent entities of the Russian Federation were considered to determine the winners in the nomination "Modernization of the urban economy through the introduction of digital technologies and platform solutions ("Smart city"). In the nomination "Urban planning policy, ensuring a favorable living environment for the population and the development of housing and communal services", Apastovo of the Republic of Tatarstan took second place. In this nomination, 262 bids were considered.
The All-Russian Competition "Best Municipal Practice" has been held since 2017 and is aimed at applying the best practices of municipal authorities in organizing local government. The organizer of the competition is the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia. Deputy Minister of Construction, Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation Konstantin Mikhailik noted that this year the main criterion in the selection of winners was the possibility of replicating practices in the territories of other municipalities.

Seven republican landscaping projects out of fifty are among the best in Russia. These are Yunusovskaya Square, the park "Light Valley", "Mirrors of Tatarstan" — A Large Blue Lake from Kazan, "320 steps to history: along Troitskaya Street" in Tetyushy, the park "Children's Town" in Pestretsy, Kondurcha Park in Nurlat and "Tatar legends — to the city by the old road along Commune Street" in Arsk.
To date, 348,338 people have participated in the online voting on the choice of public spaces and courtyards for landscaping in Tatarstan.
Residents of Bugulminsky, Zelenodolsk and Almetyevsky districts participate most actively in voting.
Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilshat Gimaev took part in the presentation of the new residential complex "Battalovsky". The project is being implemented jointly with Dom.RF Bank.
