In Tatarstan, since January 1, 2023, the mandatory use of TIM for the construction of budget facilities has been established

Since January 1, 2023, the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan, Marat Aizatullin, has established the mandatory use of information modeling technologies in the investment and construction process.

Within the framework of the execution of the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation dated 05.03.2021 No. 331 "On the establishment of a case in which a developer, a technical customer, a person providing or preparing a justification for investments, and (or) a person responsible for the operation of a capital construction facility, ensures the formation and maintenance of an information model of a capital construction facility" in the Republic of Tatarstan, the use of information technology modeling (TIM) will be mandatory during the construction and reconstruction of capital construction facilities, the financing of which is carried out with the involvement of budgetary funds.

TIM (Information Modeling Technologies) is a process as a result of which an information model of a building (structure) is formed, while for each stage there corresponds some model that displays the amount of information processed at that moment (architectural, design, technological, economic) about a building or structure to which all interested persons have access.
