Residents of Tatarstan are choosing public spaces for improvement in 2027

28 April 2026, Tuesday

In Tatarstan, the All-Russian online voting is ongoing to select public areas planned for improvement in 2027. The voting is held within the framework of the federal project “Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment” of the national project “Infrastructure for Life.”

The progress of the voting, which runs from April 21 to June 12, was discussed today at a briefing at the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Based on residents’ choices, a list of public spaces to be improved as a priority is formed. The voting includes parks, squares, embankments, and other areas in all municipalities of the republic.

The key principle of the voting is that one resident can cast only one vote.

The voting is organized on federal digital platforms. The main platform is the feedback system of the public services portal – “We Decide Together.” This service allows users not only to vote but also to learn with the list of sites presented in a specific municipality.

Additional participation options are also provided. Voting can be done through the mobile application “Public Services. Volunteer,” as well as with the help of volunteers – this format is especially convenient for citizens who do not have a verified account on the public services portal.

As noted by the Deputy Minister of Digital Development of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Tatarstan, Bulat Gabdrakhmanov, the current voting system is designed to accommodate different user scenarios and ensures both convenient digital participation and the possibility of voting with the support of volunteers.

To participate, it is necessary to log in through a verified account on the public services portal, select a municipality, and review the list of sites. After that, a vote can be cast for one area – the system records the choice automatically and prevents repeated voting.

Special attention is paid to security. The voting takes place on the protected infrastructure of the public services portal. Personal data is used solely for identity verification and is not stored after the procedure is completed.
