The Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Tatarstan discussed the situation on the market for the production of ceramic and silicate bricks

Today, the Republican Ministry of Construction held a meeting with the heads of brick factories about the current situation in the brick production industry and plans for 2023-2024. The event was held by the Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilshat Gimaev. The discussion was attended by the chief architect of Kazan Ilsiyar Tukhvatullina, representatives of republican enterprises for the production of bricks.

In his welcoming speech, Ilshat Gimaev noted that Tatarstan has steadily reached the three-million mark in terms of housing commissioning. As of April 20, 2023, 1 million 331 thousand square meters of housing were commissioned, or 42.9% of the housing from the annual plan. "In such dynamics of the input of square meters, the level of production of industrial materials plays a significant role, which makes it possible to develop the conjuncture in your republic," the deputy minister stressed.

The speech of the chief architect of Kazan was devoted to the topic of the popularity of brick as a building material. During her speech, Ilsiyar Tukhvatullina demonstrated promising materials and trends in the use of bricks in facade solutions in the Republic of Tatarstan. The meeting participants also discussed proposals for the further development of the industry in the republic, focusing on the characteristics of the material, types and colors.

Ilsiyar Tukhvatullina urged republican manufacturers to pay attention to the type and texture of bricks used in modern spaces, to use new material surfaces, while not changing the production process. "This approach will bring brick production to a new level," she said.

In addition, manufacturers of construction products were informed about measures to support the development of the industry by the state.
