Vladimir Kudryashev: The introduction and application of new digital solutions will allow us to raise the construction industry to a new level of development
Projects require a digital transformation of the construction industry - starting from the life cycle management of capital construction projects and ending with the introduction of artificial intelligence elements. This was stated by Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Vladimir Kudryashev at the plenary session "Digital technologies in the Construction industry of the Republic of Tatarstan", which took place within the framework of the International Forum Kazan Digital Week 2023.
In his welcoming speech, the Deputy Minister noted that great attention is paid in Tatarstan to the introduction of digital technologies in all major spheres of life.
The key direction of the digital transformation of the construction industry is, first of all, the work on the implementation of the state information system "Information support of urban development activities of the Republic of Tatarstan" (GISOGD), as the main integrated urban planning tool.
Today, the GISOGD of the Republic of Tatarstan has been put into commercial operation and its development is constantly underway in our municipalities," Vladimir Kudryashev said.
The Deputy Minister noted that the second direction is the development and application of information modeling technologies (TIM) in the design, construction, reconstruction, operation of facilities. From January 1, 2023, they switched to TIM during the construction and reconstruction of capital construction facilities, which are financed with the involvement of the budget system.
Also, as part of the implementation of the project of the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation on digitalization of the urban economy "Smart City", digital solutions are being introduced in the republic, which ensure an improvement in the quality of services provided to residents.
"I am sure that the introduction and application of such new digital solutions will allow us to raise the construction industry to a new level of development and provide our citizens with a high-quality and comfortable living environment," V. Kudryashev summed up.
Speaking via videoconference, Konstantin Mikhailik, Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation, noted the successes of Tatarstan in the use of full-cycle TIM. "On September 1, residential buildings of the hostel opened in Innopolis – these are the first objects in the Russian Federation that have completely passed the cycle of creating an information model at the design stage, used for construction procedures and the transfer of this model to the operational environment," he noted.
In addition, according to Konstantin Mikhailik, Tatarstan is one of the leaders of digital transformation in Russia, including in terms of urban economy.
Recall that the opening of the international forum Kazan Digital Week-2023 with the participation of the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation Maksut Shadaev took place today at the Kazan Expo IEC.
