The improvement of the City Lake has been completed in Almetyevsk

As part of the working trip, representatives of the Institute of Urban Development checked the progress of work on the improvement of public spaces in Almetyevsk, including the City Lake.

The city lake has been updated within the framework of the federal project "Formation of a comfortable urban environment". The new embankment stretches from the landscaped beach along Shevchenko Street and Bulgar Street.

In March 2016, at a project seminar, local residents touched upon the territory of the City Lake in their discussions. It was decided to divide the lake into different zones, each of which will have its own functionality. For example, the beach part will be a pool made of wooden flooring. Near it there will be a lounge area on sun loungers, changing cabins and a toilet. Nearby there will be a children's playground with areas for contact and games with water, play equipment on the sand and seating for parents. Another new place will be a picnic area on the water, where benches and tables on the decking will be located, and the water level will reach the knees of visitors on average.

This year, landscaping is being carried out at 68 facilities in the republic, 28 of which have been completed. The total performance of construction and installation works is more than 92 percent.

Recall that the federal project "Formation of a comfortable urban environment" is being implemented within the framework of the national project "Housing and Urban Environment". The project is aimed at creating a new look of cities, updating public spaces, forming a new cultural and social level of residents.
