An unscheduled meeting of the Commission on Emergency Prevention and Response and Fire Safety was held

Additional measures to ensure uninterrupted traffic and the functioning of housing and communal services in difficult weather conditions were discussed today at an unscheduled meeting of the Commission for the Prevention and Elimination of Emergency Situations and Fire Safety of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The meeting was held by First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Nigmatullin, First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services Alexey Frolov took part.

 Rustam Nigmatullin recalled the difficult weather conditions in the region: "The situation is difficult. A storm warning is in effect for the current day. Strong wind gusts up to 25-27 m/s, a severe snowstorm with reduced visibility up to 500 meters or less, heavy snow, snow drifts on the roads.  As of 7.00 a.m., the forecast is justified.  The maximum wind is up to 24 m/s in the Tetyushsky and Zelenodolsk districts, precipitation is up to 3 m in the Buinsky district, a strong snowstorm everywhere. Restrictions have been introduced and are in effect on the highways of the republic R-239, R-241, M-7, R-239, M-5 M-12. Stationary, mobile and mobile heating points have been put on standby."

In this regard, Rustam Nigmatullin instructed to organize the delivery of food for trucks and buses on the roads, as well as to provide heating points for drivers.

During the meeting, First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexey Frolov commented on the situation in Chistopol. He said that work has been organized to determine the nature of the communal accident.

 "There were no issues with heat supply, heat supply sources are provided with a supply of water to recharge heat supply systems. Vostok-Energo has a well on its territory, from which hot water is supplied to the population," commented Alexey Frolov. He also clarified: today a short day has been announced for educational institutions in Chistopol, and water supply has been organized for kindergartens. "We are keeping the situation under control," Alexey Frolov stressed.

Summing up the meeting, Rustam Nigmatullin instructed to keep all difficult issues under control.
